Professionally:

• Presently working as a counsellor of addiction in the Clinic for Counselling and Psychotherapy of Dependencies (CAPA) in Algés. The objective is the out patient’s treatment, during the afternoon, of addictions such as compulsive gambling, alcoholism and drug dependence combining individual and group therapy, prevention and information sessions, professional and academic orientation, etc.

• Counselling and supervision of addictions in the treatment centre ERA for chemical dependence.

• Development of intervention and prevention programs about risk behaviours and life skills at the French school of Lisbon.

• Work as private counsellor especially on the field of pathological gambling, but also on drugs and alcohol issues, both in Algés and S. João do Estoril

   

• Group therapies for prevention in chemical dependence, individual and group therapy for compulsive gamblers, family members and adult children of dysfunctional families.

   

• Collaboration in “responsible gambling” site and supervisor of help line “SOS pathological gambler”.

   

• Lectures in Universities and participation in public debates on gambling issues (TV, radio and press)
